2. Kerala Tourism has set a record of sorts by winning the National Tourism award for its website for the fifth time in the last ten years.

3. Delhi reggae sound system, Reggae Rajahs have been nominated for the British Reggae Industry Awards in the Best International Band/Group category for 2012.

4. Chinese architect Wang Shu has won the 2012 Pritzker architecture prize.

5. Aishwarya Rai and husband Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘Raavanan‘ is now part of the permanent collection at the Austrian Film Museum, which has so far only 15 Indian films in its list.

6. Rajasthan has bagged the second best national award in the Comprehensive Development of Tourism category behind Madhya Pradesh. The award was given away by President Pratibha Devisingh Patil.
