 NDTV Indian of The Year 2011’ in its sixth successful year, honoured extraordinary Indians::
 
1. Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal declared as NDTV Indian of The Year 2011 for their exceptional contribution towards the society in the past year.

2. Dev Anand and Cricketer Rahul Dravid honoured with Lifetime Achievement Awards.

3. M.S. Dhoni received the Indian Heroes Award along with his team and key members- Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, S Sreesanth, Ashish Nehra, Virat Kohli, Ashish Nehra, Suresh Raina, Piyush Chawla and R Ashwin.

4. Entertainer of the year (Music) title, Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.

5. Entertainer of the Year award for the year 2011:: Zindagi na Milegi Dobara Team (Farhan Akhtar, Kalki Koechlin, Abhay Deol, Zoya Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani).

6. Nandan Nilekani  received the award for Transformational Idea of the Year Award.

7. N.R.Narayana Murthy:: NDTV Icon of India.
