1. India’s leading discus thrower Krishna Poonia, created a new national record by winning the silver medal at the Altius Track Crew Throwdown meet in Maui Island, Hawaii.  Krishna hurled the discuss to 64.76 meters and broke the existing national record of Seema Antil who had hurled 64.64 meters.
